Dingletown Community Church has been a faithful part of our town’s history since 1845.
We like to say that no matter who you are, or where life’s journey has taken you, you’re welcome here. Our members come from many different Christian backgrounds and walks of life. Our doors and our hearts are open to all.
Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary. Attire for our services is generally “casual”, though you’ll find that some people wear their “Sunday best” and others come in comfy jeans.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. We practice open communion: all are welcome at God’s Table.
During the school year, Sunday School is available for all ages. Children’s classes meet on Sunday morning during the worship hour at 11 AM. Children typically attend the beginning of worship in the Sanctuary, then dismiss for Sunday School following the Children’s Sermon.
The Church meets on every Sunday starting the first September after Labor Day through the last weekend in June. In July and August we meet monthly on dates announced in June.
We work as a community church through a congregation elected board, which is confirmed annually.
Our church operates on a modest budget and is supported by the friends and members of The Dingletown Community Church. Donations can be sent to:
